Dr. David Kowalski, Ph.D., LMFT
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
When you first meet me, you can expect someone who's fully present, listening deeply, and
showing up with real care. I approach our work together as a fellow traveler who is open,
compassionate, and grounded in the training and experience needed to help guide our time
with
purpose and clarity.
My approach is rooted in systemic, existential, and rational emotive traditions. But at the
heart of
it, therapy with me is about creating a space that feels safe, collaborative, and uniquely
yours. No
two people are the same, no two couples are the same, and neither is the path we'll take.
Together, we'll build a process that makes room for your experiences, your pace, and your
goals.
I support adults and couples through a range of life's challenges, including relationship
strain,
depression, anxiety, grief, life transitions, lack of motivation, or just feeling stuck and
unsure of
what's next. Whatever brings you in, we'll start right there, with curiosity, honesty, and
compassion.
By the time our work comes to a close, my hope is that you feel more grounded in who you
are,
with a clearer sense of what matters most to you. I want you to leave therapy not only with
insight, but with tools, confidence, and a deeper connection to yourself. You'll feel more
prepared to face life's challenges and more at ease stepping into whatever comes next with
clarity and self-trust.
